The second-coming of the CNFT Noodle Shop is a continuation of the history of the NOODZ that began in September 2021, and has been cooking with Cardano in the kitchen ever since. Upgraded technological capacities have allowed this noodle shop to come fully loaded with all the latest and greatest ingredients from around the world, and strives to achieve the world’s most delicious CNFT experience anywhere and everywhere you travel. What began as a small family-run noodle house with very modest cooking utensils has grown into a powerhouse noodle home alongside friends, brothers, sisters, and many other absolute, and sometimes actual, animals in the community. Visitors are reminded of the sage advice from the chef: it’s not how you cook the nood, it’s who you eat them with.

A hard fork (or hardfork), as it relates to blockchain technology, is a radical change to a network's protocol that makes previously invalid blocks and transactions valid, or vice-versa. A hard fork requires all nodes or users to upgrade to the latest version of the protocol software.

This limited-edition CNFT release consists of twelve, individually numbered mints celebrating the Alonzo Hard Fork and the beginning of the Goguen Era.

Carl Edward Sagan (November 9, 1934 – December 20, 1996) was an American astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, and science communicator. His best known scientific contribution is research on extraterrestrial life, including experimental demonstration of the production of amino acids from basic chemicals by radiation. Sagan assembled the first physical messages sent into space: the Pioneer plaque and the Voyager Golden Record, universal messages that could potentially be understood by any extraterrestrial intelligence that might find them.

Sagan's ability to convey his ideas allowed many people to understand the cosmos better—simultaneously emphasizing the value and worthiness of the humanity, and the relative insignificance of the Earth in comparison to the rest of the Universe.

Benjamin Franklin (January 1706 – April 1790) was an American polymath who was active as a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher and political philosopher. Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He was a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity.

Franklin loved to compose in the nude. He would open the windows of his house to increase air circulation and then sit in front of the window for an air bath. In his time, baths in cold water were considered a tonic, but Franklin believed the cold was too much of a shock to the system. “I have found it much more agreeable to my constitution to bathe in another element, I mean cold air,” he wrote in a letter. “With this view I rise early almost every morning, and sit in my chamber without any clothes whatever, half an hour or an hour, according to the season, either reading or writing.”

Pumpkin-spice flavor is a mixture of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and cloves—all spices that humans have enjoyed in their food for millennia.

On Pulau Ay, one of the Banda Islands in Indonesia, archaeologists found ancient nutmeg residue on ceramic pottery shards estimated to be 3,500 years old. As spices became valuable commodities, people began to use them in innovative ways in food and medicine. Asia exported spices to the Middle East and North Africa, and from there, these flavorful ingredients trickled into Europe.

The desire for spice is part of what drove European seafaring and contact with the Americas. In fact, the Dutch were so hungry for nutmeg that in late 1600s that they traded their colony of New Amsterdam to Britain in exchange for Pulau Run, a nutmeg-producing Banda Island over which Britain claimed control. The British renamed the colony “New York.” Today, it is estimated that nearly a half-billion dollars in pumpkin-flavored products are sold in the United States each year.
